Nothing Stays | 2008-10
I began these drawings under the impact of my own near-death: for this reason, perhaps, there is a clear relationship to time which, in its unfolding, came close to stopping altogether; or to the fragility of the carbon line transferred, in its extreme sensitivity to the incidence of light.
